To date, Kids’ Chance of Virginia has helped eight deserving students finance their college educations and will fund additional scholarships in 2014. We are proud of our Kids’ Chance scholars, featured below.
Jeffrey is a sophomore at George Mason University studying Health, Recreating & Tourism. “Kids’ Chance of Virginia has given me a chance to prove my abilities to those who wouldn’t have known.”
Mason is a sophomore at the University of Virginia majoring in Mechanical Engineering. “With the Kids’ Chance of Virginia scholarship, it has allowed me to fully pursue a higher education while reducing the stress and worry of student debt.”
Shahzeb is a freshman at James Madison University. His field of study is Computer Science, Biology and Pre-Med. “Kids’ Chance has allowed me to pursue my ambition to receive a college education. With the help of the scholarship I was able to lessen the burden on my injured father and my family collectively. With the help of this scholarship I can hopefully achieve my goal of going to med school and becoming a doctor.”
Paxton is a sophomore at Campbell University studying Professional Golf Management. “Kids’ Chance has given me the ability to chase my dream. I am an aspiring teaching professional and junior golf coach. Without Kids’ Chance I wouldn’t be able to achieve my dream.”

Rebecca is a freshman at Shippensburg University studying Political Science and International Relations. “Kids’ Chance of Virginia has allowed me the opportunity to attend college and compete as a college athlete in a Division II women’s swimming program at a great school, an opportunity I wouldn’t have had otherwise.”
